Alto's on the store

Alto's Adventure, as a weekly game reader saw the ridge

The lead card on 16 October was not the one with the most ratings. It was the one with the highest Netherlands average, and the average sat on a small pile of 61 ratings. That is the whole reason this note exists: to keep the average and the pile in the same sentence.

Morning — the card before the slope

Snowman is both the name on the card and the seller. The genres filed were Games, Action and Sports. The price was €5.99. The age line was 9+, with the advisory Infrequent/Mild Cartoon or Fantasy Violence. Version 1.8.1 carried a current-version date of 26 January 2026. The minimum system was iOS 13.0. The file size on the card was 230.2 MB. The id was 950812012 and the bundle id was com.snowman.alto. I wrote those down before I looked at the still, because a still is easy to remember and a version string is not.

The description, in the Dutch text the store returned, talks about a sleeping mountain village, a snowboard run with Alto and friends, llamas, ridges and an old mountain guard. I am not turning that into a walkthrough. The masthead does not host the run. What I can say is that the card presents a sideways, ongoing trip rather than a level list with an ending printed on the front.

Afternoon — the thin average

The lookup gave an average of about 4.64, which the card shows near 4.6, from 61 ratings. Monument Valley 2, sitting one place lower, had 725 ratings and a slightly lower average. I left Alto's Adventure in front because the rule for this filing was the average, not the size of the sample. I also left the 61 where a reader can see it. A 4.6 on sixty-one ratings is a different object from a 4.4 on seven hundred. Pretending they are the same kind of evidence would have been the easy mistake.

There is no install counter on an App Store card. I did not borrow a download figure from another shop or from an old article. If you need a popularity claim, this page does not have one. It has a price, a size, an age line and a dated average.

Evening — what I will not add

The privacy nutrition rows were not in the fields I saved. I am not going to describe data collection I did not read. The description I saved did not say "no ads" the way the Threes! description did, so I will not borrow that sentence either. In-app purchase details were not in the copied fields. The honest close is shorter than a review usually wants to be: on 16 October the Netherlands card was a paid action-and-sports listing, 9+, version 1.8.1, 230.2 MB, average near 4.6 from 61 ratings, and the install still happens on Apple's page.

The still filed with the card is the landscape frame the store offered first. It stays in its own ratio. Nothing on this masthead crops it into a poster.
